Trump's Terrible Week
In the past week, the following events transpired.
The New York Times obtained President Trump's income taxes and ran a series based on the returns. Some takeaways were that in some years, Trump paid no income tax. Most recently, he paid $750 in 2018. The reason he was able to pay so little was because of huge losses he incurred in his businesses. He also has debt of over $1 billion.
The first presidential debate took place and was held by most to be an embarrassing debacle, mainly due to Trump's unwillingness to follow the rules and let Biden speak when it was his turn.
Trump traveled to Minnesota and gave a speech condemning immigrants and refugees. The things he said in this speech were so horrible.
Trump, the First Lady, and other Republicans have COVID. Trump is currently hospitalized at Walter Reed.
That was all in one week. We shall see what the rest of the month brings.
